To the general public: This is an informal blog I have started for family friends, and anyone else who runs across it and is interested. It is in no way associated with the Nike Women's Marathon, Nike or Blogspot. There are no sponsors for this blog. Additionally, anyone who is going to train for a half marathon or marathon should understand that running and walking is good exercise, but good exercise means stress on your body, especially if you are not an athletic person. Therefore, anyone considering participating in this event should see a doctor before they begin training to ensure good health and successful training leading up to and following the event. Lastly, I do not claim any responsibility for injuries which happen as a result of training for this event. This blog is only informational, it allows myself and those commenting on it to pass knowledge on to each other. I do not claim to be an expert or a doctor. Therefore, if you have any questions, concerns, injuries, etc. please consult with a professional and keep in mind this is an informal forum.
